I managed to find a great deal on Europcar for a Toyota RAV4 SUV (the same model as we drove in Iceland last year). We'd be taking the car in Christchurch and returning it after apx. 2 weeks in Picton, prior to boarding the interislander ferry to Wellington. After a couple of days, we'd be taking an identical car in Wellington and returning it after a couple of days in Auckland.

I've managed to book two great tours for our stay in Te Anau - the Te Anau glowworm gaves and the Milford sound nature cruise. While not being the cheapest tours around, they were highly recommended by numerous travellers. Yay! :)

Today I made reservations for 2 tickets on the interislander ferry from Picton to Wellington. We'd be returning our car just prior to boarding the ferry for the 3 1/2 hours cruise to Wellington, in business class, of course. ;)

I've managed to book 2 spa treatments for us to enjoy prior to starting our long, long voyage to New Zealand. The spa treatments will be in the King David lounge at Ben Gurion airport.

This would be our first night stop after leaving Wellington on the northern island. I chose a suite hotel as it seemed like the most decent place in town. Making the reservation by phone was a lot of fun. :) Our final destination in New Zealand is Auckland and I've made several refundable reservations for this hotel, just to make sure the rooms are allocated and that an upgrade is granted. :)
