12:30 update.
Last half lazy day in Shanghai, getting ready to board a train to beautiful Hangzhou. Due to our Shanghai hotel mistake, we were given a complimentary limo ride to the train station... . Yay!!!
Shanghai was great, much more than Beijing.

1:15 night update.
Arrived at hangzhou early this evening, after a rather pleasant train ride (less than 90 minutes from Shanghai to Hangzou), only to realize it's 38 degrees here with 90% humidity. Gosh... .
Took a cab to the hotel, and confronted all our fears that this will be our most expensive hotel (yet, probably the worst). Well, a 5-star hotel it ain't. Maybe a 4-star one, barely. Thankfully, we got a complimentary upgrade to a Club floor. Yip yip. :)))
Had a bland dinner at what's supposed to be a good restaurant and took a 30 minute stroll by the lake (34 degrees, 95% humidity). Returned to the room to use our complimentary laptop and Internet access. Tomorrow ought to be challenging with the weather. Oh, well, they say West Lake is awesome in daylight. I guess we shall see... . :)
