Hi everyone!

We are in Hong Kong on the start of our mad adventure through south east asia!

We had been staying in the Newton hotel on Hong Kong island which was probably a really fancy hotel in its day but is now bit rough round the edges but it suited us fine although Amy did'nt agree as she ended up on the sqeaky campbed with a hole in the middle!

First day we had to get up at 8.00am for a trip with David and felt like it was the middle of the night! We went on bus trip to the main sights, Victoria peak, staney market, jumbo floating resturant and a jewellery making place where they all pounced like vulchures and we were not impressed!

We took a very scary bus ride to the top of Lantau island to see the big fat buddha at the top of a 268 step climb, we will be super fit when we get back! Seen the light show, well the end of it as we were sat with our backs to it for a good 10 minutes, opps!

Now moved to YMCA in Kowloon, its fun to stay at the Y.M.C.A ha ha, but will need to move tomorrow as it is a bit expensive!
