Koh Phan gan - 2nd - 5th July

ahhh again an amazing place we found hard to leave.

We got up early on 2nd to get taken to the port. We didn't have any breakfast as were scared the boat trip might turn ito a repeat of the last journey...thankfully the sea was calm and the journey pasted without any incident...thank god...we lost a whole day last time!!

We got to Koh Phan gan and than bargained hard and fast to get a pick up to Thong Naay Paan Yai beach which is the other side of the island. This was Torie our friend was although she was leaving today we wanted to meet up for a drink and say bye as she was flying home after being away in total for 2 years!! The roads again here are dirt tracks and you have to trek through forests so it was a long hard bargaining process which we eventually won as we are getting good at it! Si is amazing at bartering, it makes me laugh as when we first started travelling he hated it and would leave to me...now hes ruthless!!

We got to Thong Naay Paan Yai beach which was beautiful and checked into a lovely little bungalow for just over 4 pounds a night. We caught up briefly with Torie before she left we then spent the next 4 days doing absolutely......nothing...and it was great fun....we sunbathed, swam, played bat and ball, and badminton, ate, drank and were merry...what a great life hey? Yes i hear you say Michelle doing exercise!! Paul, i will just let you know i'm getting very good at bat and ball anf good give you a run for your money! ha ha!!

t was hard to leave this island as we just completely chilled out, oh and we changed our flights to Oz...we now have an extra 2 weeks in asia!! What can we say its a beautiful place and very hard to tear yourself away from...next stop Phuket yet another island, which is where i'm writing this from, i will update the blog on Phuket once we move on. Photos off Koh Pan gan will be put on probably tomorrow as the camera needs charging!

If you are wandering why its taken so long to update its because the internet was really expensive on the little islands.
