Off back to Camp Maqui to continue the work. The work was tough again, but I really feel like we've made progress with the holes we've dug for the water pipes. I even have blisters to prove it!

In the afternoon we visited a sugar cane farm,which is in the village itself. The make this sweet thing called 'taffy' and also a really strong drink called Puntas. It tastes a little like Tequila, but much more lethal!

We helped to make the taffy, which was really sticky. We Had to pretty much stretch it until it turned lighted. Mine didn't turn out so well L

I was looking forward to getting back and having another Spanish lesson. They're included as part of the package, which is a great way to learn the language whilst we're here.
