First day of the trip and it's a scorcher! We left a chilly, but sunny London, flew for the whole of Saturday and landed in Singapore at 8am Sunday and were met by 25-degrees sunshine. Shame we were too tired to make the most of it!
After a 5-hour catch-up sleep, we headed into the CBD - the swanky Clarke Quay, full of upscale shops, bars and restaurants.
Mr. Curry filled a gaping hunger hole, then it was off on a 30-minute night-time Hippo tour along the Singapore river.
Hoped to finish the night in Chinatown, but we both feel the strong need to sleep - maybe tomorrow...
