So we left the next morning at 9am to make our way back to Bangkok, this journey started with a six hour ferry ride to the main land then we had to get on a bus, then a tuk tuk to get back to the town where we bought all our ferry tickets. We then had to wait there for a couple of hours to then get another tuk tuk to the overnight bus stop, where there we had to wait an hour for the bus, we then finally got aboard!!
Ten hours later we arrived in Bangkok at 6am where we took a taxi to our hostel only it was too early to check in so we left our bags there, freshened up and made our way to the weekend market. This was an experience and a half, there were so many stalls and we were just not in the mood to shop, firstly we had no room in our bags and secondly we were just so tired!! It started to get really busy with all Thai people coming to do their shopping so we left. Only we still had a good few hours before we could still check in, so we ended up at a mall. Once we looked around there we decided to walk back to our hostel. We checked in and snoozed as Sheens can't really say that she got much sleep on the overnight bus as she had a really fat smelly man next to me who was the most annoying man ever!!
After a snooze and shower we went to find some dinner, we stumbled across a nice little Italian place which we enjoyed but forgot in Bangkok they were going to hike the prices up considerably to what we were used to paying!!
The next day was our lazy day, well just for the morning, and then we had a three hour walk to China town and back. It was a pleasant walk but there wasn't much to see apart from food stalls.
The following day at 8.30 am we were meant to have a free tour organised by our hostel, because we had booked there for three nights we were entitled to it. So we got up and went to the reception waiting to be picked up, after sitting there for a few minutes the guy behind the desk said to us that the company had forgotten our booking and to compensate he would give us free internet tokens. But we were not having any of it as we were already had free WiFi access to the internet from our room. So we told him that the only reason we stayed with them was because of the offer, so he reluctantly made some calls and told us to come back at midday, so in the mean time we went to Jim Thompson's house.
Then the tour we had took us to three temples and then to the biggest gem making factory in Bangkok where Seems picked up a couple of bracelets for herself!!
So we then only had one morning left in Thailand so thought it would be best to spend it doing traditional things, so checked out the hostel and went for an hour long Thai massage and got manicures and pedicures. We then had just about enough time to grab some lunch and get to the airport to catch our flight to Sydney.
