Well I've returned from my 2nd trip to Tokyo and it was fantastic! Merry Christmas to those who I have not spoke to yet and Happy New Year!!! Had a great xmas in Tokyo with the McKenzie clan, different....but good! I must say I was a tad nervous about arriving at Shibuya station in the middle of Tokyo on xmas eve at 11pm at night.....and rightly so!! They place was jumping! But I found Philip no probs and we headed to the house. My mum and dads friends Helen and Alan were there, thats Philips Mum and dad, Tere was ofcourse there, but Callum and his babysitter Sheila were already crashed out. After a couple of hours of babbling on about korea I decided to hit the hay as Santa would be on his way!!
We woke early ofcourse to get stuck in to the prezzies and I eventually met Sheila callums babysitter- she looks about 14 she's so tiny! Except from her small frame she's like the Phillipine version of Sha Sha! Anyhoo back to the prezzies! I was pleasantly suprised to find that my cheeky mum (who told me I was gettin one present) had wrapped lots of little presents in one parcel. Thank you Mammy and Daddy! I got lots of lovely things from the McKenzies, spoiled in fact! And ofcourse the Woowa's, once again gave me far too much! Thank you! It was a wierd not having my bro there to share some chrimbo morning banter, but kinda used to it after last year...but it was def wierd not having Maw and Paw there, dad guessing every present before he opens it and mum telling him to stop it hahaha! After the last gift was opened and the bomb site cleared up we sat down to a bacon and egg butty = heaven! The rest of the morning was spent chilling out watching dvds and walking the wee doggy Shiro- fandabbydozy! The other guests, Ian and Judy from Oz joined us at 4ish so we had some homemade Pate and bread- haven't seen Pate for 9 months so I was extremely excited and probably ate too much!!! Was loving the Champagne too, I still blame Michelle for turning me to champers! We sat down to a fantastic dinner, a 20lb turkey!!! with all the trimmings- I have to give a special shout out to the Mash Tatties- pretty awesome! Not as good as Granny McArdles but hey...who's gonna beat them!
After dinner we all went for a walk in the park with Shiro to walk off dinner we then headed to the garden to toast some Marshmallows on the fire- muchos fun and tasty! I spent the rest of the night on the couch with a glass of wine saying "I'm still soooo full" - That's xmas right there for ya!
