Well it has certainly been an interesting couple of days. From being prepared and ready to fly home, to by chance discovering that QANTAS was grounded only shortly before leaving out hotel. QANTAS may have forgotten about customer service (and I'm not referring to the pilots, cabin crew, ground, catering and all others who make the airline fly) but the Marco Polo hotel where we are staying are all over it like a fat kid on a cupcake. This place is exemplary and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Hong Kong. It looks like now we should be on a flight this Wednesday, so due home sometime on Thursday.
