It was our last full day in Hong Kong today and we have had a busy time. Yesterday we shopped up a storm. I have managed to get myself several new items of clothing at bargain basement prices in the heart of Kowloon, followed by more items and trinkets from the Temple Street market. We must of been exhausted because both Heidi and I woke up this morning after 9am and didn't start our exploring till almost 12. It was to the Giant Budha in Ngong Ping, a journey that we would take by cable car. This was to be somewhat of an adventure in itself as Heidi was peaking the entire way. Well it was worth it as the sight of this magnificent bronze statue sitting atop this extremely high mountain is incredible. The trip down was just as much fun, however I have now medicated her with several glasses of red wine.
