She says: we never did find a beach...we ran into our Internet friends at a cafe, and since there was good wine, free olives and cheese and a highly sought after misting fan, we were happy where we were. It was clearly a sought after spot, as no fewer than 30 people crammed their sweaty bodies between us and the fan to get some temporary relief.

Our internet friends stumbled upon us and joined us for a bit. Lulu had a copy of Rick Steeves "Mediterranean Cruise Ports" book, which inspired me to purchase it on my kindle later that evening. It has already proved super helpful.

Before leaving Dubrovnik, we got Lulu (and Rick's) directions to a market to pick up some cheap wine (which we're allows to bring back on board!). We stocked up on wine and Pringles. Just the essentials.
