Still in Knoxville today, walked a few miles of the Appalachian Trail, then did a walk called Maryland Heights, in all walked about 10 miles. Leaving Maryland tomorrow for Virginia

Left New York state today to Knoxville in Maryland. It was a 5 hour drive which was easy using sat nav until we turned off for a break, everytime we truned off we got lost. Finally got to hostel after sat nav sent us into someones driveway about 1 mile from hostel, would not have been to bad but they were all out in the garden looking puzzled as to why we were there, just reversed asap, turned off sat nav and asked someone for directions.
