After a night of throwing up, getting out of bed at 5.30am for the trip to Uluru was unthinkable! So I sent my accomplice to take pictures. Its ok, she was only on her own for 18 hours! Mum had a great day. Stopped at 'Jim's Place' first for breakfast and watched his famous dingo play the piano and sing! Then travelled on along the Stuart highway far into the outback (approx. 450km). Arrived at Uluru National Park at lunchtime, saw the Aboriginal museum and took photos of the famous monolith. Then on to Kings Canyon for a walk. Then headed for the view of the rock at sunset and had a yummy tea with champers. Fantastic day! (For her, I stayed in bed for the whole day and watched Brokeback Mountain. Thrilling)
