Today we flew to Alice Springs in the Northern Territory - a lot hotter and a world away from the cosmopolitan feel of Adelaide! As soon as we arrived it was clear this was outback Australia and we were looking forward to our trip to Uluru (Ayres rock) tomorrow! After checking into our hotel, we looked around Alice Springs town; where there was lots of Aboriginal museums and traditional art to see (and buy!!) After this, we wandered for an ice cream (Wendy's works a treat!) Tried to go for dinner at a saloon bar, but felt a little under the weather, so mission abandoned in favour of bed.
