Everyone up at 9 apart from me, Bas, Willem, Nadia, Timon and Melf ha! We got up at 10 an hour late so had some breakfast, all packed our stuff into our big rucksacks as we were taking everything and leaving some stuff we don't need in our small backpacks and leaving at this hostel, we will be coming back here when we have got back from Pai in a few days time. So all set off all 13 of us! Me, Bas, Willem, Timon, Melf, Nadia, Stefan, Lisa, Tristan, Laura, Stef, Felix and Claudia. Massive crew was so cool was all riding from Chiang Mai to Pai. We all stopped off at a clothes shop on the way to get the same shirts. Took about half an hour for a poor shop assistant lady to go through her entire stock to find same shirts, and correct sizes. Bas must of had a XXXXS shirt his shirt was power tight! Took around 6 hours to get to Pai, incredible views and I mean nothing I have ever seen before it was breath taking. We were stuck in cover at a local house as it was pissing down at one point but apart from that, amazing ride! We all had a group picture on Lisa's camera at the top of a incredible view point all pictures look so good. Got to Pai late afternoon and checked in at the hostel Timon stayed at when he came the Pai Circus hostel. Views from here were surreal, had a swimming pool as well and we were staying in small bungalow huts. Seriously amazing hostel! Managed to get 3 of us for me, Bas and Willem in one bungalow. Ants were everywhere it was disgusting but thought nothing of it until later on when actually sleeping with them. Stayed at the hostel for a bit then went around Pai to the markets and oh my days, the food and fruit shakes were on another planet could not stop eating! Street food in Thailand is so good amazing how when researching about travelling people say to not touch the street food. After we went back to the hostel to chill and we all got on so well it was great stayed up until about 3am, some people coming back were wasted from town this American dude f*** me. I have met Americans who all they talk about, is America but this one guy took it to another level. Didn't shut up and seriously pissing us off. At the end he just said - 'I know I am rambling on, but if you don't remember my name in the morning, just call me: America'. Absolute helmet he was the butt of the jokes that evening! Went to our bungalow me and Bas were sharing the double bed and the ants were beyond a joke. We'd all had a beer and that so just slept with it even had a cockroach in there but Willem was nice and wouldn't turn on the light as he was wanting to sleep. Luckily, we went straight off!
