Last day in Port Douglas today one of the best hostels I have stayed at in my 4 months travelling Oz backpacking is a lot different to Asia backpacking I bet Robyn and Ash loved it when they done Oz travelling I am starting to think already that I may not be able to do as much as what I want to do here but keeping optimistic plan is head to Cairns to see Craigy and Chloe and then to Gold Coast to meet Sarah haven't seen her since Koh Tao right at the start of my travelling she is living and working in Oz now! Gathered my stuff up and checked out at 11, me and Tash would meet up for lunch in this random cafe so good to see a friendly face I haven't seen Tash since we were leathered in Azuza on jager years ago! True to Tash form she was absolutely hanging she was staying in a hostel outside in a tent and last night polished off a bottle of whiskey as if it was water! Had lunch and a few beers then went separate ways as my bus to Cairns was at 3 so headed back to Cairns to meet up with Craigy! He had just finished work as soon as my bus dropped me off he got there which worked out well so went to the Esplanade had a few beers then went to his house. LUSH house in the middle of nowhere can see fun and games no end being had here! Turns out could only stay with Craig one night as he had too much work on so timing sucked but still he cooked some decent food and I crashed on his sofa wary of the beasty huntsman spiders kicking about in his garage I was adamant I would be waking up with a HUGE spider on me at some point in the night!
