For the past couple of days, we have stayed in Le Meridian hotel, in Budapest, Hungary. Budapest is literally split into Buda (east) and Pest (west) sides. On the first day we went to the "House of Terror" museum. "The House of Terror", is "…a museum commemorating the victims of terror, which reminds us of the dreadful acts of dictatorship". The "House of Terror" is a museum, but it used to be a headquarters for the Aero Cross party - later known as the Hungarian Nazis. They became the Hungarian Nazis, when Germany took over Hungary during WWII. They would send four hundred thousand Jews to concentration or labor (also known as death camps) camps where they would later die. Then the communist Soviet groups AVO and its successor AVH (Russians) came and liberated Hungary. But they turned around and sent Hungarian people to Gulags. A Gulag is the Russian version of a concentration camp. The last prisoner was freed in the year 2000.
The next day, we went to the local Thermal Bath/swimming pool. In the thermal bathes, they had steam rooms, thermal baths, and a wave machine. The thermal baths healed my leg, the steam room healed my throat, and the wave machine was a lot of fun!
Day three, I was feeling a little sick, so we went to the mall ate breakfast and went to the movie "21". Then we went to high tea at the hotel. That night we had Hungarian food, saw Hungarian dancing and listened to music.
The next day, we went on a Hydra foil boat to Austria, where we met my godfather, Greg. See Ya!
