SGIB in South America
After 2 weeks we are moving on from Montevideo to Buenos Aires. We love Montevideo and two weeks of language school has provided all 4 of us with a good start to the rest of the south american continent.
From Montevideo we booked a bus with COT to Colonia (3 hrs), looked around Colonia for some hours and then took the Buquebus ferry across the Rio de la Plata to Buenos Aires (1.5 hrs). It would have been better and probably cheaper to take the buquebus package...
Colonia is worth a visit. Well preserved 18th century houses, a history of 500 years and nice shops and cafes.
Arriving in Buenos Aires, a place with 15 mio people, immediately pushes the big city feeling upon you.

Bee So glad you are having a great time guys. Just wondering, do you want us to delivery your Christmas tree to you this year? You pay the airfare and we won't charge delivery. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.
Andre should have stayed one night at Eduardo's BnB (La Posidata de la Plaza). Great place. Great guy! We spent 2016 for weeks of our honeymoon in Argentina and Uruguay. Cheers from Hamburg ;)
