We decided to get the Eurostar to Paris. Arrived at Gare du Nord station in the evening. We had booked a hostel for a couple of nights so now the journey to find the hostel began. With my quite poor French skills we managed to make our way through the underground to a station nearby our hostel. Hafiza and myself were obviously not wearing our backpacks the 'correct' way because our whole spine was aching we even suggested we needed AP+LAT Whole SPN (dorks I know!).

We stayed at a hostel called St Christopher's Inn Canal (which as the name suggests was by the canal-very pretty at night with the lights!). We found out we were on the top floor...Brill! Bumped into a friendly Manchester lad and an annoying little Indian man. Had an early night due to our long journey. However, there was a music festival going on all night which was great but we got little sleep :(
