The first city I visited on my Busabout tour was Berlin so of course it was the craziest….met mates Nat & Ritchie there and got straight into a German Beer Garden OH YEAH! Joined a Fat Tyre Bike Tour which took us all around Berlin on bikes (obviously!) to places such as Brandenburg Gate, Memorial for the Murdered Jews, Berlin Buddy Bears, Berlin Cathedral and German Parliament… had a funny American guide and also went on a boat cruise - great fun!!

One night we joined a pub crawl which was hilarious, in between pubs our "guides" fed us all straight spirits from the bottle starting with of course their traditional drink ABSENTH!! Met some really wicked people and managed to hop between at least 4 pubs before retiring to the hostel with 2 hours sleep before the bus left the next day. My favourite club was this abandoned building that a group of artists had salvaged and sold their work out of in the day time, and turned into clubs on different levels at night. Every inch of wall in the building was tagged with graffiti!

Because of Berlin's history its definitely a city still trying to repair itself so you couldn't really call it picturesque but if you can get past that its somewhere I would go again, if not only simply for the nightlife
