Prague was very pretty, all the terracotta roofs mixed with Charles Bridge and Prague Castle, it just had a great feel when you were walking around the city. Its easy to navigate through the cobblestone streets twists and turns which i enjoyed. Prague Castle reminded me of something from a fairy tale when seen at night from a distance! Inside the castle walls was also the amazing gothic St Vitus Cathedral, the oldest cathedral in Europe, which had beautiful stained glass windows statues inside as well as providing some amazing views at the top of its bell tower, 287 stairs to the top - little did I know this was just the beginning of all the bloody stairs in Europe.
Nat, Ritch, Jamie & I joined a bike tour and pub crawl and ended up being the only people on it apart from the guide and one Aussie guy haha, we did manage to run into the Dandy Warhols on the street along the way though. The food and the beer was sooooo cheap it was ridiculous; beer is ACTUALY cheaper than water, not kidding!
Hired a paddle boat and went under Charles Bridge, which was a lot easier to do than push your way through the thousands of tourists who walk over the bridge every day. Winter is probably the best time to visit Prague - avoid all the tourists (especially the Asian tour guides holding their umbrellas up so people don't loose them, I swear there were 100's of them!).
