Arrive in Mendoza on the 9th August and the weather is so much better here than in buenos aires but still not bikini sunshine!! Mendoza is a really nice town...and lots to see. it's famous for it's wine and Andes so Beth and i booked ourselves on a wine tour and a mountain trip! The wine tour was so good. we got to visit two wineries, a distillery and drink and eat for two hours!! Went on the mountain tour yesterday, right into the centre of the andes and did some sledging on the ski slopes. the scenary was amazing...i'll add the pix when i've downloaded them to cd. We leave mendoza today for Bariloche. Leave at 8 and its a 19 hour bus ride over night :( Hopefully we'll get to do some skiiing when we get there but apparently it's had the worst snowfall for years over the past two days so we'll have to see when we get there!!
