School today, decided to taxi in (cost 40baht, 70p), as we had to look good for our licence photos, you know I can't spoil the bird's nest. Very brief session about the school, we have to complete 9 modules of the Thai teaching licence run by the Thai government, apparently you can fail it - no one told me this, must pay attention, no more sleeping in class for me.
Had a quick tour, now I am after answers here.Is it only me or do schools always choose to put the Geography and History departments either at the top of a tower block or the far flung reaches of the site. We are the only subjects on the 4th floor of the hub (a very wide tower). When I say fourth floor, that is Thai 4th floor, they haven't quite grasp the concept of the ground floor, so really we are only on the 3rd floor. Only one Geography room and it is all mine, usual blue tack problem it looks like a bad case of acne.
If lunch continues like it did today there is not much chance of me wasting away, great selection of Thai food. Had to have a little of all 4 dishes, did leave dessert well alone, it looked like jelly noodles in some sort brown liquid. The other thing that might not help is that the walk to and from school passes a Tesco express and a Victory Bakery (the muffins were very nice).
Tomorrow we have a medical so not allowed to eat for 12 hours. To help us prepare Felicity tested her new rice steamers and cooked up a storm of sweet and sour chicken.Great night best thing is these girls know how to laugh.
