We had to wake up early for our Cape Reinga tour, it was cloudly and damp but we didnt mind as we were travelling so far north that the weather would almost certainly change! In Magnetic Island now, called that because the iron in the ground messed up Captain Cooks Directions, either that or he wasn't very good at navigating!! In Paihia now and its brilliant!! Staying in a cool little hostel and the rooms are huge and new. The bar at night is decked out with candles and hundreds of fairy lights which gives it that something that sticks in your head. Its nice being by the coast again but its been abit cold for swimming. Hello all again. We had a great time in Cairns althought sometimes it can be a hetic place, i.e. the fire people and random BBQ's near the pier. Cairns has a really great lagoon pool to chill by which was really cool for all those lazy days!! We actually cooked a meal! AND.... we are still alive! On Fraser Island the worlds largest sand island. This places means paradise in aboriginal which i think is a good comparison! We visited Rainbow Gorge, Red canyonand Cathedrals coloured sands which as you can guess are all coloured sands! Next was the Maheno shipwreck on the beach which was awesome to look at, a bit rusted tho.
