Just got back from a 3 day jungle trek, we are all knackered!! We stayed in local villages which was good and made new friends along the way, including 10 BHT (a little village kid). We went bamboo rafting, waterfall jumping, cave exploring and elephant riding. haha james and alex had a naughty elephant who always was eating or picking stuff up, they were miles behind at the end! we all are sooo tired now but were going to go out for a few drinks with some girls ...

In Queenstown the world capital of extreme sportpeople (or Nutters as i call them) This area is really quite beautiful but most of the activities happen out of town. Is soo expensive here, worse than back home. Soph keeps asking me if i want to do a Skydive. I say the same thing everytime why jump out of a perfectly good plane, if it was on fire then i would!!! Not much to do here unless you want to do crazy things like that but my god you could walk...

In Kwai, i.e. "the brigde over the river Kwai" Went around the war cemetories and museums, was abit sad to think off all the lives that were lost. Local guide estimate that 1 person for every sleeper died in the construction process, mostly POW's!! On a lighter note had a good meal on a floating resturant then took a boat up river to our floating huts where we had to sleep! In Dingo, Its a fully operational Cattle ranch with about 4 thousand of the beasts!! Its soo dry out here they only get 11 days of rain a year, thats the amount in days of sunshine that england gets!! We had a go at using a whip which is harder than you think, and once he told us these whip can slice through your skin, it made it even hard to use! Then the boomarangs which are great fun.
