Last day in Vegas!! Checked with front desk and paid for one room till 3pm. Went to pool, hot even at 9am. Swam and sunbathed for couple of hours. Back to room, showered and went to mall to buy another suitcase! Back to hotel to pack and check out. Back to mall... Shopping in A&F. Dinner in hotel, fab burger. Off to airport, arrived very early but managed to get Delta to only charge for 3 of 6 of our bags.. Result!! Flight delayed so sat around for 3 hours ti...

Sat by pool 10am for an hour, very hot, could only manage the shade. 104degrees today. Back to the room, collected kids and went for lunch. Off to New York New York for roller coster. Was as scary as before! Walked back down strip, M &M shop again, then Bellagio. Back to Fin for Chinese dinner, then over to the Venetian for makeup shopping. Had a go at roulette table. Lost, boo!!

MGM again, saw Lion exhibit. Was v strange to see lions indoors and being stroked like Ruff and Tumble!! Did CSI experience, was good looked at crime scene, took notes, then went into lab to do forensics. Got certificate at end!! Walked back down the Strip, went into M and M shop and Gameworks. Bought tickets for tonight show Cirque de Soleil, Love at Mirage off discount ticket booth. Back to hotel, had amazing frozen yoghurt. Room service dinner. Cirque de Solei...

Kev drove early to the wind farm for pics. Checked out at 12 and set off for Las Vegas. Long drive, stopped couple of times for coffee etc. Arrived in Vegas at 5.30. Hotel Mirage great, rooms interconnecting and one king 2 doubles, Matty happy!! Decor purple and orange, beds good, they have one to buy in the gift shop!! Recreate your own bedroom, complete with pillows and bathrobes lol.

Went to San Diego Zoo. Skyfari up to Polar Rim, saw polar bears eating carrots in the water. Bus trip round zoo. Queued for Pandas, very cute sitting eating bamboo. Gorillas posing for the camera. Sloth bears and meerkats. Elephants and giraffes. Went shopping in the mall, bought shoes and more shoes. Dinner in an All American Diner, burgers etc. Showed all the calories on the menu!! Had turkey burger and salad!!
