After some amazing time catching up with Lauren, Jason and Jack, and a fun birthday celebration, tonight is our last night to see the Staircase to the Moon, unfortuntately the rain came pelting down and by 5pm it was grey, gloomy and very threatening, by 6.20 the sky was very black. We headed off to the Mangrove hotel just in case, we catch a glimpse, It was such a shame as the hotel had put lots of chairs and the umbrellas up and had a BBQ set up, finding cover we stood with other hopefuls to catch a glimpse, at 2 mins to 7pm a brave moon beamed through the clouds for a momentary glimpse gave some steps but it was quickly gone as the clouds overtook the shine. oh well.

Off to Derby tomorrow.
