With one last day in Amsterdam, we so badly wanted to rent bicycles and take pictures all over the city. We woke up to wind and rain which canned those plans, but it didn't stop us from getting out there and enjoying the day. We had a couple places in mind we still wanted to see, so first up was Dam Square. This is a big open space surrounded by old beautiful buildings that I couldn't tell you the first thing about. Today we slept pretty late because we had a long night. We managed to get out of our place and hit the Heineken Brewery for a tour and tastings. Before that, we do have to mention that Amsterdam redeemed itself on the food because we stopped in at a local eatery and had amazing sandwiches. We landed in Amsterdam and immediately LOVED this place. There are bicycles everywhere and the bus stops right at our BNB and takes us directly into the city center. We checked into our place around 4pm and then spent the rest of the evening/night exploring the town. The canal systems are so gorgeous and the streets are lined with coffee shops and cafes (and yes there is a difference.) Bike paths are paved all over the town and these guys go zooming by on scooter...

We took a bus and headed West from Dublin to the opposite coast of Ireland to a place called Galway. With 24 hours to spend here and no map in hand, we walked through the main part of town and were SO impressed. There were young people everywhere and cafes, pubs and shops lining the cobble stone road. We grabbed a deli sandwich, a coffee and kept walking. We saw the coast/bay and the weather has been perfect thus far. There were old churches and a beautiful chann...

Today we decided we needed some exercise so we took a quick jog down through a park to the Irish Sea and brought along our workout bands. After, we walked back through the park and enjoyed people watching. We showered and headed to Guinness Brewery. It was so much fun learning about the history of the brewery and pouring our own Guinness... Tasting it wasn't bad either. We walked up and down the streets for hours and even took a stroll through Trinity College...
