We took a bus and headed West from Dublin to the opposite coast of Ireland to a place called Galway. With 24 hours to spend here and no map in hand, we walked through the main part of town and were SO impressed. There were young people everywhere and cafes, pubs and shops lining the cobble stone road. We grabbed a deli sandwich, a coffee and kept walking. We saw the coast/bay and the weather has been perfect thus far. There were old churches and a beautiful channel that lead out to the sea. We watched Ireland play a football (soccer) game in a pub that night and took a night stroll to check out the night life. It seems each place we go, we end up walking at least 5 miles tying to see all we can and this place was a joy to explore!
