Once we arrived to Akaroa it decided to drop buckets of rain. Only for a bit though. It is a very quant town surrounded by mountains and clear blue water.

En route to Akaroa to see some penguins since we struck out in Lyttelton. This was our 3rd attempt to see these little boogers. Unfortunately we arrived to late and all of the tours were booked for the day. Everything seems to shut down way to early in NZ. Anyways, we were still able to enjoy some beautiful views.
