Well we made it to Spokane.......however home land security had a go with us at the border. Seems we were try to slip some south american oranges past the border guard, however she was having none of it and pulled us over. Another picture perfect day in the valley. Just in Windermere for a day to get the irrigation system winterized and get some other fall chores done. Had to take an hour off to go to the west side of the lake for our favorite walk. Tomorrow we depart on our road trip to Oregon, we hope to get to Spokane tomorrow evening. The weather forecast look splendid for a road trip. I'll report our findings. Ciao for now

Ft Worth has one of the most stunning art galleries I've visited. The building was designed by a self taught Japanese architect and is constructed from concrete and granite. The interior spaces are beautiful and display the art brilliantly. We are visiting to see a show of Lucien Freud's portraits. Lucien was a British painter that only recently died. Beautiful early fall day in Windermere. All the fall produce is in at Fred's market. We purchased peppers, tomatoes and a pumpkin. I have been busy roasting and smoking the tomatoes and peppers for use over the winter. No one around and it seems deserted compared to the chaos of the summer.
