We were woken up this morning almost as soon as the sun came up as the tent began to get unbearably hot. There isn't much to report about today as we spent the whole day on the bus! We got on the bus at 10am and off the bus at 8.30pm. The journey wasn't too bad as we had 2 seats each to ourselves and there were quite a few stops. The driver also put on a couple of films which was cool. However when we got off the bus in Hervey Bay we had to wait around for a further hour for another bus to arrive as the free minibus to our hostel had to pick up people from that bus ...

We had a nice lie in today for a change and got up at about 10am. We decided to pay the extra and stay in the double room again tonight instead of getting beds in a dorm room as we like having our own space! After a very long bus journey we arrived into Byron Bay at about 9.30am feeling cramped and tired. We were met off the bus by someone from the hostel where we had booked to stay which was nice as we didn't fancy trekking anywhere with our bags.
