Hi everyone, Hope you are all OK.

Well where do I start. We arrived at 1600 Thailand time and it was so hot and humid. We got to our hotel and it was really nice. (Our last bit of luxury for a year). We just chilled out for our first night as we were tired. We went to the rooftop pool in the morning for a bit which is really nice. Its not good though, because of the breeze I just got burnt. In the afternoon we got on the sky train to get a boat to a temple. It was some dodgy old boat and when we arrived the temple was closed. We then got some random tuk tuk which took us to another temple. The drivers are mental. If there is traffic then they just drive towards oncoming traffic to get through. Not good.

In the evening we went to some open air market restaurant where they cook the food right there. There was also a cockroach running around on the floor. The food was nice though. We then went to Koh San Road for some drinks. It is so different to anything. We sat on some little plastic stools in the street drinking out of a bucket (yes like a bucket and spade kind of bucket). There is food stalls every 30 secs and I dont know what the half of it was. We did buy some cockroaches and crickets to eat though. We brought them back to the hotel to eat so we could take pics. They will follow.

I just chilled today by the pool (in the shade though as I dont want to burn anymore)

We are going to Krabi tomorrow on a 10 hour bus ride (nice). Its supposed to be really nice there with loads of good beaches.
