• has been scrubbed within an inch of her life by a large turkish woman named fatimah, learned about carpet quality, spent too much on a backgammon board that she doesn't know how to play, and later learned how to play backgammon from a turkish carpet salesman trying to pick her up. Or sell her a carpet. Not sure which. (20/5/09)
• went to Gallipoli yesterday and heads to Cappadocia on a 10 hour overnight bus ride tonight (but not before working out how to ship a very large backgammon board). (22/5/09)
  is convinced that all her random days in turkey will end up with a turkish man trying to pick her up with a game of backgammon. this time it started with horseback riding and a learning how to ride a scooter around cappadocia. (23/5/09)
