We got a lazy day today. Our flight is just after lunch so we have have the morning to ourselves. Plenty of time for another swim and lazy by the pool. We had to leave the hotel at ten thirty, four hours before our flight to Greece. Turned out to be a good thing cause we arrived just in time for check in. Had a bit of a sleep in this morning. At least as compared to the last week. Eight thirty start and we were picked up by Abby again. It was nice to see her and tell her about our cruise down the Nile. We started the day by going to the Egyptian museum. I loved it. I so wish we had more time to look around. We're told the temperature is 35 degrees today. Funny how that's starting to feel cool. I changed my mind. If it's 35 degrees in Abu Simbel it does bit feel cool. It was a pretty short trip from Aswan. We got off the plane and went straight to the site of the two temples. Early start this morning. We left the boat around seven in the morning and headed out to Philae temple. The temple was on an island and had some really beautiful views. They had to move the temple when the dam was built. You can tell from the columns that it had been built is the time of the romans. It was pretty ruined, not nearly as well preserved as some of the other temples we've seen. The boat ride was wonderful too. Was pretty busy but obviously not as busy...

Set sail again this morning. Arrived in Esna around eight. I woke up earlier this morning and spend some time on the deck which was just beautiful at that time of the morning. Went down for breakfast and had an omelet made specially by the omelet chef. Around half past nine we took the horse and carriage to the temple at Esna.
