Today was a really long long long day. And the worst of it was we did practically nothing. Up at six for a departure at seven thirty we then spent almost the whole day on the bus. We didn't even get to see some nice scenery as it was raining.

We reached our hotel in Paris around five thirty. After the beauty of Lucerne and Innsbruck, the part of Paris we've seen so far really seems like a bit of an ugly city. We haven't really seen too much just yet but I'm not impressed. after checked in a few couples and I headed out for dinner. We didn't have long before the show tonight, but it was just long enough for a nice salad. Then I had to get ready for the Cabaret.

The drive to the cabaret took us through the centre if the city and finally I was impressed. We drive past the Notre Dame and it was really imposing on the dark, all lit up with shadows everywhere. We passed the Lovre, but won't be going inside as it's closed tomorrow. We also won't be getting to climb the Eiffel tower while we're here. Really disappointing.

Oh my god the Cabaret was just amazing. Spectacular. The costumes, the dancers, the actors. Wow. I was but thrown at first by the nudity, but by the end of the show you didn't even notice. Everyone got a glass of champaign to enjoy with the show and it was a fantastic night.
