Phu quoc is beautiful! Not much to do here apart from relax on beautiful beaches! We left Ho Chi Minh city on Wednesday 23 October on a 1night 2day tour of the Mekong delta! We visited a temple & the Buddha of happiness where we saw monks having their breakfast! We went on a boat cruising along the Mekong seeing the different islands off of it, learning how they live here, saw how they make coconut candy from water coconuts & tried the snake wine!! We arrived in Ho Chi Minh city (Saigon) on Sunday 20 October 2013 in the early hours after another 10hour sleeper bus journey on which I could not sleep! One thing I will not miss in Asia! Well what can I say, the best time we've had yet is here in nha trang! We loved our hostel, they were so nice & helpful there, the beach was gorgeous, we made lots of friends & had many a great night out at our local, the sailing club! Got involved with all the locals who loved our dancing! Took a day trip to vinpearl by cable car, enjoyed the waterpark & aquarium. Nice journey down coast & up mountains on bus,arrived in hoi an early evening where we stayed 2nights at a good hostel called The Sunflower, met up with Darryl & Laurie who I met on the bus!
