Siem reap is a nice place, again with very friendly Cambodian people, they love us & are so welcoming! Our hostel was $4 a night so not the best & very hot indeed in our room but it's cheap!! I've still had this tummy bug so haven't been too well here so we stayed 4nights to give me time to recuperate & feel ok to do Angkor Wat, which we did today! We got up at 430am & had a tuk tuk take us round each temple, the main big ones. We missed a sunrise over Angkor Wat due to bad weather unfortunately but the temples & their forested surroundings were beautiful. One of them was where tomb raider staring Angelina Jolie was filmed! I also got bitten by the resident dog in our hostel here! Not fun at all! I didn't even know it was there, it just crept out from a doorway & attacked me!! Bit my leg! I sought advice from a doctor near us who said I should b fine as I had all the jabs I need before coming out to Asia & it's not a stray dog! So keep it clean & dry & should be fine! So on a plane tomorrow flying over to Bangkok! We're leaving out Laos for now as we want to get to Northern Thailand by 15nov for the lantern festival, there's not too much we wanted to do in Laos & seems a waste of money paying for a $35 visa for a few days! Can't wait for Thailand now!
