We took a 2 hour ferry over to koh rong island, an up & coming stunning tropical island that will probably look a lot different in years to come by being more built up so I'm glad I got to see it in its natural form now! We were so excited by the crystal clear waters as we pulled up & all the fish we could see! We stayed in a cheap hostel that wasn't the greatest but we weren't in it much anyway! The main strip was ruined by rubbish a bit but was still good, we were there with 3 friends we made along the way & had 4great nights of partying! Including dressing up for Halloween and setting off our own fireworks & sparklers with the local Cambodian kids joining in, they loved it!! We went snorkelling round some reefs which was beautiful & ventured on walks along rocks & through the jungle to further away stretches of beach which were just breathtakingly stunning! As u can see from the pics! The lads bought hammocks & built stands for them in the sea & various places and we all had a relax in it, was so glorious! I'm pleased we saw this beautiful island but because our hostel wasn't great I was pleased to leave on Friday 1st November! Even though I did have a bad tummy bug but I took some medication & made it through the 10 hour journey to Phnom Penh!
