Our apartment was lovely it had a great view over the bay looking at Bainbridge island, a really smart gym and a rooftop lounge with views of the space needle and the city.... BUT there is usually a but when it’s so good! Earplugs were provided by the bedside and wow did we find out why... it was like having our bedroom in the centre of a racetrack what a shame! We packed up ready for the drive into Vancouver there were no trains with it being bank holiday so Ron & Joyce drove us to the station. Luckily we arrived early as our tickets were wrong so we had to swap to a bus to Seattle instead and it was just leaving. We had a border crossing on the way which was interesting and I can see how it could be a nightmare but it was quiet and we were lucky we sailed through
