We had an early breakfast on the roof terrace wow it was an amazing view & breakfast was great the best we have ever had I think! We went for a walk around the square & into the cathedral, we visited the ruins & a few museums. It was really hot & felt quite humid being in the bustling city. We walked through some of the street markets they had all sorts for sale & all the sellers were happy & loud shouting for business it felt safe & nothing like what the reviews had said! The street art with a backdrop of old colonial architecture was stunning round every corner there was a great picture. We went up the Torre Latino tower which is 597 ft high it’s one of the city's highest & most important landmarks as it was the world's first major skyscraper successfully built on highly active seismic land. We went up in two elevators & my legs felt quite wobbly in the bar, the views over the city went on for miles to the mountains in the distance & it made us realise first hand how huge the city was. We went to a quirky little Mexican restaurant & ordered god knows what of the menu ha! It was good very cheap & the owner gave us kiwi mezcal for our efforts trying to speak Spanish!
