On Sunday me, Lauren from my trek, Jason and Glen the Aussies from my trek in the US left on our trip up the coast... We stopped a night in Geraldton on the way and then spent 3 nights in the beautiful Coral Bay, it was gorgeous with beautiful clear waters and reef just off the shore. We took a glass bottomed boat out to some further spots out on the reef and did some snorkeling which was great, saw loads of fish but it wasn't quite as good as the Barrier reef....

The last few days of the trek were fantastic, we went quad biking on sunday afternoon which was ace! Racing across the desert with sand in your face is actually great fun! The next morning on the way to Kings canyon I went camel riding which was brilliant, they are such lovely creatures, graceful and relaxing! We are now in Alice springs where we are spending 3 nights... This morning we got up at 3:45 am to go on a sunrise balloon ride, it was brilliant, the views were amazing, I saw wild horses in the bush below! We had to help pack up the balloon too then went for a champayne breakfast which was yummy! Really enjoying all the action, got loads of things planned up to wednesday when we finish the trek here in Alice...

After leaving Cairns we had a long drive across the country and up to Darwin, we spent 3 nights in Darwin, on the way up we visited Katherine Gorge which was beautiful, we did a cruise and then a hike and had a swim in a waterfall pool. The next day we visited Litchfield NP which was very pretty, again we did a hike and had a swim in a beautiful pool at Florence Falls. We spent a free day exploring Darwin on a tour bus and then headed to Kakadu where we went ...

Yesterday we went on a boat out to the Great Barrier Reef, at the first stop I did some snorkeling, it was a bit scary at first but I soon got into it. Then my group got called up for Scuba diving, i got all the gear on and was about to get into the water when I chickened out! So I went snorkeling again! Then we went to another location and went on a glass bottomed boat and did yet more snorkelling, really enjoyed the day, there are so many beautiful fish...
