We left Iguazu and had a lnog drive ahead of us which involved a free camp. So far we´ve been lucky enough to aviod these as basically you just park yourself wherever you can along the way, set up camp and sleep. Apparently our spot wasnt too bad and our next one will probably be worse, but it was an interesting night anyway.
Yesterday we arrived in Salta set up camp and all got showered and dressed up for a night on the town. We went for a group meal of steak and wine which was amazing. Steph and I shared a tenderloin steak and we still couldn´t finish it. The food here is just great.
2 other budget trucks are travelling along side us for some of the time, so we met them afterwards and about 90 of us rowdy tourists went to a couple of bars and ended up in a pretty good club. Ended up being an all-nighter again as things dont get started until late (or early) here, so we had a fried bruch this morning and most people are chilling today. That also has something to do with the weather. Its been not stop raining since last night which had proved quite interesting for us campers. Theres just not much to do. Its not cold though, so not quite the same as rain at home.
The next two days we have quite a few activities planned. Tomorrow Im going on a half day horseride and the following day we are going white water rafting and canopy ziplining, which shoulds be a laugh. It also means it keeps us out of our wettish tents.
After here we have another free camp, then we head into Bolivia, which Im really looking forward to, so when I have more news and I can find a computer I´ll update again.
