Had to update you on our accommodation of the past few days. The picture gives you an idea but it doesn't really do it justice. It was called PS guest house in the middle of Bangkok and cost 3.70 a night. The first night was ok but after that we realised that the place was full of Ladyboys. After a trip to the bathroom Jim became very confused not knowing whether he was infact in the mens or somewhere else entirely. Silicon breasts everywhere you look, although Jim wasn't trying too hard to look away. He has heeded Grandad Alan's advice though and is looking out for the give away adams apple and large hands before looking anywhere else. Also had to share our little 'cell' with an army of ants that seemed to have made an ant highway right through our room. The rest of the clientale seemed to be just a little strange but I suppose with the general vibe you would have to be. On the plus side it did have hot showers and was very economical. Off to Laos tonight on the sleeper train.
