Spoilt like a Princess!

In true Reynolds style I was woken with a hot brew but with the brew was a gorgeous red rose, pressies and card (with tickets to the Opera House inside for the evening). We had planned to spend the day on Manly beach, so after doing the laundry (not very glamorous but necessary) and checking my e-mail to find a brilliant singing card (thanks Mum and Dad) we set off with our picnic. Got the ferry across from Sydney harbour. Had lunch in a fancy cafe on the beach front, gorgeous food, wine and view then went to the beach to relax. Saw a wedding on the beach. Had an ice cream and headed back for the performance. Had our picnic in the botanical gardens next to the Opera House where we saw loads more weddings going on. Last of all we went to see Shostokovich's Symphony No. 8 in the Opera House which was incredible, including a glass of wine on the veranda overlooking a beautifully lit up Harbour Bridge - a great day!
