Morning all! Thought I would update you whilst I am waiting for you know who to get himself out of bed its already 9.30am and I am up dressed and ready to explore the Sunday market, south Australia museum and the cricket ground...shall be an awesome day especially as the sun is at last shinning.
So yesterday we arrived exhausted from another long haul flight well actually I was fine it was Stu who was in a daze most of the day as he didn't sleep a wink the poor thing. As I am sure you can all imagine he wasn't the most happy person yesterday ha-ha!!We were greeted to Australia with rain and cold cold weather-just like England not what I was expecting at all L . With the weather not great we wondered round town, went to china town and central market (basically a HUGE Birkenhead market but all yummy food and spices) which was amazing. We bought food there for our tea for the next few days for only 7dollars! We will def be going back there!
If we are honest we don't really know what we think of Adelaide yet it's not really what I was expecting, but that could just be due to weather we were greeted with or the fact that we have just come from Singapore which is basically awake 24hrs a day 7 days a week.To me it kind of feels like England would have felt years ago. There are no 'malls' or even a Starbucks?! It's definitely a different world to Singapore but I think it's kind of nice that there are no huge brands here, feels a bit more authentic in a way.Anyways I know you shouldn't compare places but it feels so different to Singapore.
We were meant to go to an outdoor cinema last night but the weather failed us, again it felt like we were backing home.So instead we thought we would go to a few bars or a nice cafe for a drink then an early night. But crazily everywhere was closed before 7 on a Saturday, crazy. However we did find a coffee shop/bar/restaurant which sold the most amazing cakes so of course we had to get a rocky road muffin was delicious.
Anyways I am going to go and investigate where Mr Ballam is.Hope he is at least in the shower!
Toodle pip xx
p.s. I have my jeans on I never expected I would need them in Australia!!!!!

Nico Rocks! Adelaide isn't the biggest of places, Nothing compared to Sydney/Melbourne! -Make sure you go to the City Park, and if theres a Day Trip or Coach go to 'Cleland Wildlife Park' you can feed Kangeroos, Wallabys and Hold Koalas and get your Picture taken! -Its much better than any of the Zoo's in Sydney, and not as Busy!
