We are in Melbourne!! So first day of weather here was amazing - we are staying in a place called St Kilda which is on the beach so we had a wander down the coast and soaked up the sun. They have penguins which nest on the beach so the first night we went to take a look at them - they were so cute! Since, the weather has not been as great so we have got our tourist hat on - went to see federation square which is like trafalgar square in London. It is in melbourne central close to a big station (similar to st pancras). Jet lag has finally worn off so today we are going on a free bus tour (Dad, i'll let you know how it compares to london!) and visiting the eureka tower which is a really tall building which you get panoramic views of melbourne. Tomorrow is the great ocean road and then to sydney we go!

First overall impression of oz so far is that it is soooo expensive but the people are lovely. It's a really friendly place so looking forward to all our stops along the east coast!
