Wow do I have some news for you guys!

Since we have left Queenstown we have been on an adventure! It was sad to leave Queenstown as we have a big group of friends there but 4 are us have stayed together and we are now travelling around the North Island.

Wellington was pretty boring to be honest - it's not a very nice town - pretty dirty and not much to do there. Its nicknamed Windy Wellington and it didn't disappoint! Since then we made out way up to Taupo - this is a huge volcanic lake and its gorgeous. We arrived on a perfect day - clear blue skies so you could see the volcanoes and mountains for miles. Hence we decided to do a skydive! Do not ask me what made me do it but 3 of us girls decided on the 5th May thats what we would do! It is the most scary thing ever as you have a 20 minute plane ride up to 12,000 feet. Once you get up to 12,000 feet you are attached to your 'divemaster', the guy who you jump with and they open this 'door' which is literally a hatch n the plane and you have to sit with you legs hanging out of the plane. They take one last photo of you and then you are falling 8,000 feet at 200kmph! I can't explain the feeling - it is incredible. At 4,000 feet the parachute comes out and you feel like you are flying. The views were incredible for us and the sun was just setting so we have an amazing day for it. As soon as I landed on the grounp my legs were like jelly and I was shaking! I have post the link of our group video so you can all see it! My jump is about 9 minutes in so make sure you watch it and laugh as I look ridiculous. Apologies if I swear in it!

Since then we decided to go caving. Again a pretty awesome but scary experience. You are 65m under groud in the pitch black water for 1hour 15 minutes making your way through this cave. At some points you have to jump backwards off waterfalls into a rubber ring in the pitch black! Again very scary but great fun. We only 4 days left in New Zealand before Fiji so we are travelling up to the Bay of Islands - the Northern tip of the island. After that we will be in Fiji for 2 weeks so my next update will probably be after Fiji when I'm in Asia!
