left vegas on friday morning, it was pretty awful. at 6.30am it was 93 degrees. The day before we walked most of the strip, we found out in the evening it was 115 during the day!! we got a bus to the greyhound which was a dump. The bus we got to san bernadino wasnt even a greyhound and the air con worked at 20 degrees cooler than outside...it was 110 outside on a full bus!!!

got into anaheim eventually and got to the hotel which was really nice, sunbathed for a couple of hours. was quite wierd because it was so much cooler there and on a night we were quite chilly. As it was 4th july we watched disneys firework display(we were just over the road) no idea where they got the fireworks from they made smily faces and cubes!!

saturday we went on a tour to LA and hollywood, it was good but not a good as we expected we didnt stop in LA but we did get to see the river where the racing was filmed in grease and terminator, and the city hall from king kong. Went to walk of fame, very crowded and the hollywood sign was covered by a lot of smog. We stopped at rodeo drive but too expensive to look. Vennice beach was really cool, basketball games, muscle beach surfing etc.

on sunday we went to the beaches, but our luck it was overcast we stopped at huntington beach and watched the hundreds of surfers and went in some shops, we went through newport and then stopped in laguna where weather was bit better. The houses out there were imense ranged from 4-11 million dollars! had tea in the rainforest cafe in the evening.

Monday was the best day, we went to universal studios! we went on the simpsons ride which was really cool, nath got soaked on the jurassic park flume. We went to the special effects tour and nath was picked to be a volunteer. The backlot tour was amazing saw wisteria lane, whoville, cars from fast and furious, experienced an 8.4 earthquake, we watched waterworld went on shrek 4D and met spongebob! desperate housewives and the new will ferrel film were being shot while we were there!

Today we flew from Los angeles to vancouver, because we came from the states security was really strict took us a while to get in, kept being questioned before they would give us a stamp. bit scary!!

Tomorw we are off to grouse mountain and capilano suspension bridge which should be fun.

also we had our first cider in 4 weeks, it was nice!!
