Finally at the beach part of our trip in Thailand!! They are amazing. We've been rock climbing which was fun, they are like the ones in the picture. David managed to get upto nearly 200ft high. Our hands ached so much after it! So today we had a relaxing day, well we planned to until we got on a speedboat to go on a 4-island tour. The sea was so rough, the boat was jumping in the air so much! David enjoyed it, I just feared for my life in the shark infested water...

We left the hustle and bustle of Bangkok and also the Thai coup which was blown out of proportion by the bbc! The soldiers were so friendly and it also meant that David had another 15mins of fame with his tv interview for Thai tv. So now we are in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by poisonous snakes, spiders, frogs and everything else, including monkeys! We have our own little hut to stay in, different to a normal hotel. Its been a while since we last updated, but we have been so busy and done so many amazing things!! We left Bangkok for a few days to go to the north of Thailand - Chiangmai. There we went white water rafting which was amazing, we got so wet! There was points when the raft was full of water and we all nearly were swept away, great fun though. Took the water taxi down the river to see all the sights by water. We didn't realise the water would be so brown, good fun though. Got a bit wet sometimes and there were spaces on the boat specifically reserved for monks! Signs just said "Space for Monks". Walked around the centre being approached by so many people trying to take us around everywhere for 10B!!! they do not understand the word no. Went to a few markets and that was about it for the day. Today David made us walk around for about 2 hours to try and find a Thai boxing stadium to see if we could get tickets. When we got there we found out it was closed and we had to buy tickets on the night. So annoying!!! So after hours of wandering around we didn't really have time to do much else.
